Tamriel Rebuilt: I3-151

Tamriel Rebuilt:
I3-151.
By Lord Andres Indoril.

Seyda Vano. The settlement that becomes the player stronghold for Great House Indoril. The manor building is not large enough to fit anything seriously impressive, but large enough for a player home, I suppose. Includes two craftsmer (not a typo) and three guards. Of course, the rest of the stronghold has more stuff. Anyway, I claimed this much earlier today, before I went to sleep. And I finished it after I slept. Long after I slept, I could say even. Of course, I cursed Scamp the modderling to whose blog I have link to over there on the right. Do you see it? You should. Silly claim history and clutter after the jump. Along with screenshots. Look at the screeenshooots. Should have included more, but I am lazy and there was no place to get a good view from.

      History Of The Claim:
Oh, how I want to skip this. The claim was founded on the 14th of May in 2005, probably due to the claim browser just having been introduced. On the 17th of August, the Now-Fallen Archbeast Starcrunch of I Do Not Remember What, had it revoked due to some modder or another not having been seen since the April of that year. The revokeyness took a long while back then. Now it is all "Yo, moddah, update once per month at least, or we'll revoke this for you, moddah." Oh well. At least better than nothing. From what I am able to tell, this claim has always been the Seyda Vano manor, but at first included the whole stronghold. On the 26th of August, 2005, the Now-Fallen Archbeast of Varia, Ludovic the One That Now Goes By Lud, claimed it, confused as to how many buildings this was, pondering inbetween 3 or 4 buildings. The Now-Fallen Archbeast or Archlord of Interiors, not entierly certain, who went by the name of Hermit, told Ludovic that there are in fact 5 buildings. He granted the claim only to be interrupted by the Sload, that is now the Now-Fallen Archbeast of Lore, chubby walrus he is, who told Ludovic that since this is the player stronghold of Great House Indoril, this place should not have too many objects (an order that was outright ignored by Lord Andres Indoril).

On the 12th of September, 2005, Ludovic declared to have finished 5 of the 7 cells that encompassed his vision of this claim. He finished the claim on the 1st of October of that year and was outright sick of the Indoril tileset. Poor fellow. On the 4th of October, the Now-Fallen Archlady Of Reviewing, Lady Nerevar, sent the claim to review, where it was reviewed by a guy named Indoril... Well that is silly. That took place on the 14th of May, 2006, won't go into the details of that, since the list is longer than a longcat on a longening competition. Ludovic, as the Head Of Reviewers by then, told Indoril to fix it. Lady Nerevar did that instead though on the 29th of October of 2006. Whatever.

On the 3rd of January, 2008, the Archlord of... What the hell is he the Archlord of? Uhh... the Archlord of Administration (?) Haploid.... Wait. Haplo. ....stumbled upon the thread going all "What the fuck is going on here? Is this a kindergarden or your mother's pantaloons?" He was in fact unaware of this being the player stronghold, so Hemitheon, the one that did beautiful work of nightmarish beauty that was a pain to fix, said that he believes it to be the stronghold for the player, and Ludovic confirmed that. The Archbeast of Quests, The BLOODTHIRSTY CRUSTACEAN, had heard that Enamor Dayn had also been suggested to be the player stronghold. The Now-Fallen Archbeast of Quests, THE GLORIOUS THEVIKING (because questers are hard to come by, they get to be all spiffy in this post) proclaimed that he had no idea of Seyda Vano being the player stronghold, when he was discussing strongholdification of Enamor Dayn with the Archlord of Reviewing, Thrignair of Summerset Isles, so theviking proposed that Enamor Dayn could be the stronghold of another quickly rising noble or something. This of course, is probably not spoiling the questline at all, since we keep forgetting all of our plans anyway, but don't tell anyone that. When I say, we, I might be talking about myself and whoever else is forgetful. Anyway, the next to join the conversation was Gnomey, who does not hold strong positions at Tamriel Rebuilt, but is known as a Councillor at the Great House Fliggy. He only pointed out that the interiors are usually not changed by the construction stages and shouldn't be changed here either. Haplo was sad that his actual question, whatever that was, had been left unanswered, which was should he just link the interior doors to the exterior and leave the scripting of the stronghold to whoever NPCs the area. Thrignair answered that the exterior scripting has already been done.

On the 29th of June, 2009, RelinQ, revived the thread for data fixing, since TR_Data had changed a lot since then, and said that Ludovic was already fixing them as they spoke. Blackbird said something insignificant and then Thrignair laughed at the concept of Ludovic fixing something and Haplo laughed at some object name.  On the 30th of June, Ludovic joined the thread asking Thrignair, why he was being so pessimistic about him fixing the file, to which Thrignair replied that he was under the impression that RelinQ simply assumed that Lud would fix that. RelinQ then told Thrignair that he had actually asked Lud about that and that he would merge the fixed file to his Detailing Claim.

On the 4th of January, the Archbeast of Interiors repurposed the claim to be the manor of the player stronghold instead of the whole stronghold and unlocked it for claiming. Of course, there was no one brave enough to claim it until the 10th of January, when Lord Andres Indoril claimed it and went to sleep. Cathartis granted it, Andres posted a shell and then noticed that he was finished with it.

 > Cathartis sent the file to review just after and it was assaulted by Scamp in the disguise of a reviewer next. He found many, many errors, but loved the furnace. Lord Andres Indoril obviously blamed the errors on the awesomeness of finishing the player manor in one day. Scamp commented on IRC that he found it amusing that my mistakes were in the more basic areas, while I made complicated stuff without error. Lord Andres Indoril obviously blamed that on his sweet, sweet lazyness.

 > On the 20th of February, 2011, The Archlord of Reviewing, Thrignar Fraxix, approved the interior saying that THIS is how you make Indoril balconies. I was quite uncertain if he was talking about his fix or what I did.

The end.

  1. Your History of Claim, story is more interesting than my history studies :)
Great to see that once the Indoril questline will be added, we will also get fine stronghold.
